Shopping in Yountville
Yountville has been a popular shopping area for visitors since Vintage 1870 opened up in the 1970's. It quickly established itself as the place to shop in the valley. The 30+ shops at Vintage 1870 are neighbors with many other shops along Washington Street, including Beard Plaza just across the street and north a bit. Don't forget to walk further towards the north end of town where you'll find the Napa Valley Grille, Gordon's Café and a variety of shops.

Listed in the National Registry of Historic Places, Vintage 1870 was built as distillery and winery by Gottlieb Groezinger in 1870. Today it offers more than 30 specialty shops, restaurants and a picnic garden. A couple of our favorite shops are the Toy Cellar, for kids of all ages, and The Barrel Cellar, for Napa Valley gifts and apparel. Vintage 1870 is probably the most popular place for tourists to shop in the entire Napa Valley.

Proprietor Wil Anderson has practiced and taught in Germany and Switzerland, and is a specialist in a variety of massage techniques, including the esoteric and remarkably effective deep body massage called Chua Ka.
This mini-day spa has no lodging, but it does offer massage, facials, body treatments and total fitness programs. It's one of those intimate little places that make the Napa Valley so special, and it's very popular with locals who want the personal attention that larger spas can't provide.
